FBI Special Agent in charge Joseph Trimbach and John Trimbach will debate AIM’s legacy and challenge the three pillars of AIM: COINTELPRO versus AIM, the Anna Mae murder investigation and Leonard Peltier as a political prisoner.

Tim Giago, Pine Ridge Sioux Indian Reservation resident and member of the Oglala Lakota Nation, will speak about the early beginnings of his newspaper, the Lakota Times, his encounters with AIM and his frustrations with government agencies, especially the Indian Boarding School system.

The presentation will feature film clips, still pictures and personal experiences and observations.
