As a designer, I have a strong understanding of design standards in both web and print environments. I possess a very well-rounded skill set and can take a project through the various stages of development including research, graphic design, layout, production and editing. I have experience in designing innovative site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces and navigation. I am highly proficient in hand coding HTML, XHTML and CSS. Evidence of this can be found throughout all four of my portfolio categories.
As a developer, I am able to think conceptually as well as practically. I think about the big picture and identify important patterns and themes along the way. I am able to assist in developing creative solutions to user experience challenges. I have a basic understanding of server-side scripting and database concept and logic.
